An often overlooked factor in the overall efficiency and condition of your heating equipment is the quality of the fuel it burns. Fisher-Churchill blends a state of the art, premium additive to it's heating oil. Heating Oil Plus™ premium blend optimizes the performance of your heating system and will virtually eliminate fuel related "no heat" service calls and equipment failure. It is also environmentally smart and boosts heating efficiency.

Heating Oil Plus™ has distinct benefits that are not found in most other company's fuel oil.

1) Detergent/Dispersant for Sludge Removal:
Sludge is a by-product of fuel degradation material, microbs, and dirt. Heating Oil Plus™ is designed to gradually disperse sludge in the system, on the filters, and in the oil tank. It allows the sludge and particulate to pass through the filters and get burned, instead of collecting on the bottom of the tank, waiting to plug the filters and nozzle.

2) Corrosion Inhibitor:
Fuel and water can be extremely corrosive to your entire fuel system, from the tank to the nozzle. It is a serious problem because it gives rise to particulate contamination throughout the system. Heating Oil Plus™ protects all fuel wetted surfaces from corrosive damage, thus extending the life of your equipment. We use active molecules which attach to metal surfaces that repels water... so we are able to stop the corrosion before it starts.

3) Thermal Stability Agent:
Heating Oil Plus™ has a fuel stabilizer added that is designed to keep the fuel fresher longer. It prevents the creation of impurities that plug filters, clog fuel lines, plug nozzles, and becomes sludge in the bottom of your tank. Fresh, stable fuel burns more complete and efficient.

4) Water Demulsifier:
Heating Oil Plus™ has a special blend of water dispersants and dehazers that allow for gradual water removal and preventing troublesome fuel/water emulsions from forming.

5) Lubricity Agent:
Our Heating Oil Plus™ blend is a non metallic, and phosphorus-free additive which provides boundary lubrication between moving fuel system components. This limits the usual wear and tear on these moving parts, which lengthen the life of your equipment.
